Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha known by her stage and screen names Gugu Mbatha Raw. Gugu became famous after appearing in the BBC Science Fiction TV show Doctor Who. Gugu was a huge success in this series, playing Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. Gugu was set to pursue a career in acting after her fans were captivated by the vivacious and spirited personality. In addition, she has appeared in other British stage and television productions. Her role as Belle (2013) in the British period drama 'Beyond the Lights', and her superb role as a romantic in "Beyond the Lights,' has been highly acclaimed by the critics. She's also appeared in a Tom Hanks-produced comedy called "Larry Crowne as well as on television shows such as 'Undercover,' and 'Touch. Gugu Mbatha Raw performed the role of a leading character of a mistress and actress in the play by Jessica Swale "Nell Gwynn," performed by Jessica Swale. The critics praised Gugu's acting, which led to her nomination for a prestigious award for the best actress. Gugu was given with the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth.
Chelsea Joy Handler was born on the 25th of February 1975 at Livingston, New Jersey. She was the eldest child in a large family. The mother of Handler was a homemaker Her father, on the other hand, worked as a used-car dealer. Her mother was a German immigrant who came to her home in United States in 1958. After more than ten years fight against breast cancer, she passed away in 1989. Handler's dad was Jewish so she raised to Reform Judaism. Handler enjoyed a pleasant and healthy life growing up in an affluent neighborhood. As a teenager She moved to Los Angeles, California to explore a career in acting. Handler was forced to become an actress to survive. Handler's ability to write stories came into play when she reached the age of twenty-one. Handler then decided to dedicate her entire career to stand up comedy. Handler started her stand-up career on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Badly which was a reality program with a hidden-camera/practical joke. The series ran between 2002 and 2005. The host began to appear on various other programs such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was hired as a correspondent on The Tonight Show as a reporter. The biggest break for Handler occurred in 2006, after she started hosting her own show on E! The show was called Chelsea Handler. The show lasted for two seasons. Handler continued her stand-up career by doing a show on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour which was a tour within the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have broadcast her live stand-ups. She was named as the host of The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. This made her the first woman to host VMA's after Roseanne Barr.
